Can you shoot 38's in the rifle?
Yes, 38 Special will work just fine. If you shoot a lot of 38 Special you'll probably want to clean the gun before switching to 357 as you get some carbon buildup that can make the longer case of 357 get stuck in the chamber.

Ricki, yes Sir, 38 Special will fire no issue. After about 150 rounds you will need to clean the carbon buildup in the chamber neck as it will cause chambering issues for the longer 357 Magnum loads when you switch back.
