Chuck, You don't complain to BUDs. Nothing they can do about it. It is between you and UPS. Use tracking information and call them every day. If you insured it then just go through process with BUDs.
I would contact buds for sure, but now importantly I'd contact the carrier, buds will really only be able to assist you if you paid for the shipping insurance through buds. If not they are no longer liable for any merchandise as soon as it leaves their facilities. For future reference any time I have a package shipped through UPS as soon as i have a tracking number I go in and have it redirected to be held at a ups store, or a ups locker. The lockers are great because the ones up the road from my house are outside the facility, meaning I can pick up my items any time day or night. To redirect the package you need to create an account on pps.ups.com/doapp/signupmychoice?loc=en_US
Once that's done hit either the " track package" or the "change delivery" buttons, put in your tracking number. Go into details, and then select redirect, or add in delivery instructions (like drop over fence into bzck yard by south end of yard).
If you have it delivered to a store you can pick it up as soon as you are notified its been delivered, same with the secure lockers, just enter your phone number and you'll receive a text as soon as its available.
I know this doesn't solve your current problem but can definitely help ensure safe, secure deliveries of your items in the future.

Chuck, there have been many reports the last few weeks of this very situation. I would suspect a few packages may have been stolen either by some package truck followers or unscrupulous drivers. I keep my cameras on full tilt when my packages hit my city's distribution centers. I would contact Buds to initiate an insurance claim with the carrier in any event at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday.
