  • Pretty sure I know the answer but trying to make sure I am right. Can you put one in the chamber and have the hammer in the forward position and if pulled to shoot just pull the hammer back and it would then be cocked?

  • David, this is somewhat correct Sir. It has a DA/SA Trigger System so it would fire with the pull of the trigger in double action or by pulling the hammer back for single action. Cheers and stay safe!

  • Don't waste your time cocking the hammer as if it only fires in single action. That's the whole point of a double/single action. To be able to carry with the hammer down, draw and shoot your first shot with a longer trigger pull. To then follow up with a much shorter and lighter trigger pull.

  • David, Don't take the time to pull the hammer back. Just fire the handgun in double action where the trigger pull will pull hammer back and release it to fire. Manually pulling hammer back is a wasted motion and you will end up on the late end of any confrontation.
