I am not recoil sensitive, but have to ask...is the weight of this rifle sufficient to tame much of the recoil, or is having the barrel threaded for a brake recommended? I plan on extended range sessions (50-100 rounds) during load development and intermediate range shooting.

Recoil, the weight of Weight: 9 lbs helps but a Brake will be the ultimate factor in the highest recoil reduction for the most effective results. A recoil reduction Pad goes a long way as well : budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/39388/limbsaver+slip+on+large+black+recoil+pad - Cheers and stay safe!
