The holosun 510C is what is put on a PCC (Pistol caliber carbine) you get 50,000 hours battery life, a solar panel back up, shake awake, the ability to cycle through 3 reticle choices (32moa circle for quick close quarters, 2 moa dot for precise shots, or both 32moa with a 2moa dot in the center) the hood is also made of titanium so its light weight and extremely durable.
If this is going to be used a pdw (personal defense weapon) then you shouldn't skimp on the optic, the NC star is great if the only purpose of this gun is a range toy, but for home deffense buy once cry once, get something proven.

I like the Holosun, not so much the Nc Star. The best deal out there is by Sightmark...the Ultrashot...two colors, four reticle choices.. and a wide view window. Retails around $100
