Why does my state (ct) bans weapons by how they look and not how they function? If I dress up w a sheet on Halloween it doesn’t make me a ghost!

Roy, some States including CT have been allowed to have their State laws override Federal Laws when it comes to firearms. Cheers and stay safe!
Because they rule by fear....as a resident of Chicago...i know this too well
Government control. As much as possible. The nanny state. They would love to tell you how to dress. If possible move to a free state. Dress how you want, and have the firearms you want.
There are people who genuinely believe the earth is flat. There is no limit to the amount of logic some individuals can ignore. All we can do is try not to vote them into public office

Because these gun grabbers are clueless when it comes to guns. If it looks dangerous, by golly it must be dangerous. States like NJ, CT, CA, MA to mention a few have some of the most head scratching gun laws on the books.
