There is no banned features for California on this rifle, its a lever action with a tubular magazine, most of CA's restrictions on rifles are on semi autos , and rifles with detachable magazines, this rifle could actually legally hold more then 10 rounds because of the tubular magazine. Your good to go.
Oh and FYI Chris referenced the CA DOJ list that only pertains to handguns not rifles.
