  • Federal 12ga shorty shotshell on the box it says use only in single shot or break action shotguns if use with any other type of action could create an unsafe condition. Can some one tell me why? i was going to load my Mossberg 590 which i think would hold about 24 of the shorty's.

  • Possible misfeed problems. You can get a rubber piece to put in the feed gate to help stop that problem.

  • In a pump action the short shells could short-cycle causing two shells to end up in the chamber.
