Myra, it would work, I learned on o similar Pump model but a Semi-Auto would be a better learning tool for Skeet - Cheers and stay safe!

NO, pump is not good for standard skeet. You want either an over-under or a fast semi-auto for skeet. You need to quickly follow up on the second shot in skeet and pump will become a big hurdle. For trap, pump is perfectly fine, just not standard skeet. I hope this helps
