I thought I was buying Lake City .308 Win ammunition, but received 7.62 X 51. The rounds are similar, but not the same. Has anyone had the same problem?

Lake city doesn't make 308 ammo. Lake city produces 7.62 x 51, which is the military version of 308. Unlike 223 versus 5.56, the military version of 308 is the lower pressure round. Getting 7.62 x 51 lake city is a blessing, not a problem.
