I clicked the button that says "Notify me when Available" for a shotgun I want, but nothing happened. I would expect to see a screen acknowledging that Buds received my request. 2 days later I open the site and the same live button says "Notify me when Available" . . Makes me think the first request did not register. Then I clicked "Add to wish list" and nothing happened. Is there anything I can do to be sure that Buds and I are communicating? That Buds is aware that I want to buy this gun?

If your browsing the site on a mobile device (cell phone) as i usually am, buds mobile sight tends to have technical issues. What I do to make sure I get the notification with an out of stock item, is i hit the Notify me button and give it about 3 seconds then I refresh the page, now when the page reloads the button that previously said "Notify me when in stock" now says "remove Notification" that means that you've signed up for an alert, if this still doesn't work try clearing your history ( buds site uses alot of cookies and it can cause issues with mobile devices) then reload the page try again. You can also try using a different browser or device (PC. Laptop)
as for the wish list the site caps the total number of items in your wishlist to 20 items, if you have less then 20 in your wishlist, then try all my previous steps.
If you have 20 items you'll need to remove one or more from the wishlist.
If none of that works ( one of those steps should work) you can always try speaking with customer service to see if they can add the item to your notify list
