yesterday i put ruger rifle with scope in cart. After talking to FFL dealer locally I came back to buy it, it was gone.

Dave, I remember the 1st time Sir. I have had some items in and out of stock just this morning 3 times. I think it is the new website interface that needs the kinks ironed out. I suggest being ready to complete the purchase on the spot as firearm inventory is trickling in and can sell out quickly if only a firearm or two is all that is in stock. For future reference, if there is an item in stock, that may sell out you can go ahead and complete your purchase, and then contact your ffl, if there is an issue with the ffl accepting your transfer, you can call another one on the list, then contact buds to change your ffl, as long as you do this before the item(s) have shipped there shouldnbe no issue switching your ffl to a different one, there is also an option at check out for "Select ffl later" you could use this option then touch base with your preferred gunshop.
