I would find a used shotgun that’s better quality for the same price.
George, I gotta correct this. I do not own the SAS, but two other Hatfield shotguns. And I would not recommended this SAS. Its far more complex then the versions I have, and more of a chance for Hatfield to slack on other stuff. I wouldn't drop $340 on one, but I have been incorrect many times before.
The Hatfield SAS is hard to beat price/function wise. Their are not many reviews out as it's relatively new. But it's based off of the same reliable action of it's predecessors "Only Tac' ed up a bit". but will serve you well and definitely won't break the bank. (Side note, you can find a used Winchester, Remington or Mossberg and get overall better quality)..

Yes, lots of minor issues you would expect (surface/finish flaws) had one minor mechanical fail where a bolt was loose and literally fell out. I was able to just screw it back in luckily. I have had one light strike and it was likely the gun as the ammo was pricey good stuff. The trigger pull is the heaviest I own, but also acceptable for a low priced firearm. In all, I wouldn't get a refund and am happy to own 2 of them. But you will realize the reason its low cost too. They are worth it, but not a penny more. I'd recommended them but warn they are just below average quality.
