  • All will cycle. The shorter rounds (22Long and 22Short) will build up carbon over a period of about 50 to 75rds. This only becomes a concern if you plan on switching back over to 22LR during the same shooting session. You can shoot either Short or long all day, nut when you switch back to a longer 22 just do a quick barrel throat clean.

  • Michael, Some times you get feed problems and you can also get a "burn ring or carbon ring" where the case and bullet separate. causing extraction problems when you switch to longer ammo.
