  • Paul, choose a FFL near you to have the gun shipped to. Depending on what state you live in, you may need to apply for a handgun permit, so know your state laws beforehand. Once the gun arrives at FFL, he will do your background check and transfer the gun to you. Really not much to it.

  • Paul, not much. Since you select your own local FFL during the purchase process, Buds ships your handgun to that FFL with your contact information. That FFL Dealer will contact you to come in and complete transfer paperwork and you take your handgun with you after successful completion and payment of the transfer fee, usually $30. Buds also emails you your tracking information so you can monitor the shipment. Cheers and stay safe!

  • You'll select an ffl to ship it to at checkout,
It will be then sent to your selected ffl (gunshop) who will then call you and tell you your item is in, you'll go in, inspect the item (do this before you begin any paperwork) if there's anything not right with the item, or not as advertised refuse the item and buds will pay to have ot returned, then they'll refund your money, if everything looks good, fill out the background check, and transfer paperwork, and pay the transfer fee (some states require you pay the fee after the background check comes back), some background checks take minutes, some take take weeks (depending on how busy the NICS system is) if it looks like its going to take a while the ffl will have you go home and will call you when it goes through, if its going to be a short wait they'll have you wait in the shop.
Once you are approved they'll transfer the gun to you and you take it home.
Some states have a mandatory waiting period of however many days, some states do not have any wait period (there is no waiting period in Oregon where I'm at)
Some states also require you to have a pistol purchase permit some like Oregon do not ( if you are required to have a permit buds will require this at checkout, but the ffl may also require it at the transfer)
