Greg, yes you are good to go in The People's Republik of NJ with this rifle. I'm in NJ and I have a Henry lever action .22 that holds 16 rounds. The law states “Large capacity ammunition magazine” means a box, drum, tube or other container which is capable of holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition to be fed continuously and directly therefrom into a semi-automatic firearm. The term shall not include an attached tubular device which is capable of holding only .22 caliber rimfire ammunition.

From what I read any 22lr with a manual action and tube fed is exempt from the magazine ban. So looks like you should be good to go.

Semi-automatic rifles with a tube magazine that are capable of firing only 22lr are exempt from the 10rd capacity ban, the Rio Bravo is a lever action with a tube magazine so I'd think it'd be exempt as well but, I don't live in NJ, id ask a local ffl or at very least wait for Edward C (he answers questions on here and lives in NJ) to chime in, he's pretty well educated on NJ gun laws.
