  • Does anybody know why there is about a 3/16 gape between the hammers and the firing pins on this gun. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, it doesn't look like that they will strike the pins to me.

  • Keith, this is normal Sir. This nostalgic cowboy gun features double triggers, true to the era color case hardening, fully functional external rebounding hammers. Outside hammer shotguns HAVE to have rebounding hammers. Otherwise the hammers would be down on the firing pins and the firing pins would be sticking into the fired primers. You wouldn't be able to open the gun after firing it. This also mitigates necessitating the cocking of the hammers before opening the action. Cheers and stay safe!

  • Not sure, but if it doesn't make contact the worse that would happen is it wouldn't fire, id take ot to the range and try it out if you are having issues contact CZ and start a warranty claim.
