  • What does the 'LE' describe on the Walther CCP model 5080500LE? How is this different that a standard model 5080500?

  • Le is short for law enforcement and there's no difference in the actual firearm. Manufacturers give law enforcement special discounts. Buds does the same thing with their QP or qualified professionals, by reserving High demand products and usually some kind of discount. Hope this helps.

  • Steven, there is no difference in the standard and LE model. The LE models are a manufacturer slated package to be sold to first responders at a discount. The LE models sometimes come with an additional magazine or other accessory but the firearms are the exact same. Details here : budsgunshop.com/qualified_professional_discounts.php

  • Buds' has a qualified professional discount program for law enforcement (LE), military, veterans, etc. There is a separate listing for the discounted items that has LE affixed to the model number but is otherwise the same as the non-LE marked item.
