Yes this rated for slugs, you'd be best shooting it with IC choke installed.

Richard, slugs are no issue Sir. You will get the best slug accuracy with Cylinder or Improved Cylinder Chokes with slugs. This shotgun Accepts Beretta/Benelli Mobil Thread Pattern Choke Tubes. Cheers and stay safe!
