If you want to buy a handgun from an out of state source, by law you are required to have the person out of state ship the gun to a licensed firearm dealer located in your state, then that shop can transfer the handgun to you.

No, you can't buy handguns out of state. If you don't have a driver's license proving you live in that state the ffl won't transfer it into your name. Now long guns you shouldn't have an issue. Sorry but hope this helps.
