  • Hello, I was getting ready to purchase the Kimber Hero Custom II, and then I stopped because I realize I shoot left handed. So, I was curious does anyone know how the gun feels to be shot by a lefty?

  • Brandon, Other than the left side manual safety, you will not have an issue. An ambidextrous safety can be installed but is not necessary with a little practice. Cheers and stay safe!

  • it feels ok for a left handed shooter you can get a ambidextrous safety and install it. many lefties shoot right handed 1911s with no issues the only control that is a minor problem is the mag release and with practice that becomes easy
