When you purchase the model 629 does it still come in its own wooden box or is that something that was only included in the bygone days

Anymore manufacturers do anything they can to decrease the price to keep up with other manufacturers and usually downgrading cases and small things like that are the first to go. This comes in a regular plastic hard case. Hope this helps.
