Is this a M1A with green fiberglass stock and stainless steel barrel as displayed in the picture? If not, what is the model number for the M1A that matches the displayed picture. - Thanks!

Alex, I did a search at Springfield Armory using the model numbers that is provided in Bud's description. Interestingly, The model number used in the top part of the description is MA9229LE which is a law enforcement model (currently out of stock) with a chrome-moly barrel. While this steel does contain chromium, it is not in great enough quantities to provide the corrosion resistance found in stainless steel. This is a very strong, wear resistant barrel but just doesn't have the anti-corrosion characteristics of stainless. When you dig down on the "detailed" description on Bud's web page they list the model as MA9229. Springfield show this as the MA1 9229 model. They do not show this particular model with a stainless barrel unless you look at the precision target shooting models that come in desert tan (earth tone?) or olive green but they do no have a conventional stock. They come with adjustable cheek rest and different hand guard. I strongly suggest that you call Bud's customer service and have them clarify/verify exactly what configuration it comes in. If Bud's published Springfield's SKU number, it might have been easer to pin it down.
