No, this doesn't take detachable magazines. This has a fixed magazine that you have to load threw the top of the rifle. You can buy different stocks and conversions to make it accept detachable magazines though. Hope this helps.

For what I have learned about this rifle is that there are some mags out there to have more rounds but seems that everyone says the same thing they don’t seem to be reliable , I ordered one of this rifles (layaway) don’t have it yet but I’m keeping it the way it is , 10 rounds can do the job as far as high capacity I have an AR with 30 round cap , so no worries there , i think the sks will be a great rifle the way it is.
