  • Is model 8541 in the Ruger MPR series? I had also checked the Ruger website and did not find the 8541 listed under MPR or Free-Float Handguard, other than the color it appears to have features similar to MPR model 8542 (all Black), though full spec sheet is not listed

  • No, this is not an MPR rifle. The MPR series comes with an upgraded stock (magpul MOE SL on the 18" and B5 Systems on the 16") this one is a basic milspec stock, the MPR Also features the Elite 452 series 2 stage trigger trigger, and a muzzle brake this one has a basic single stage milspec trigger and an A2 flash hider.
I own an MPR and the trigger upgrade alone is worth it in my opinion
