can i use the UPC code instead of serial number for optic rebate if the gun hasn't shipped yet ? or should i wait and get serial no. of gun?

Hi Jeffrey, You're going to need serial number and UPC. It needs to be cut off the package

You will need the paper work (shipped with gun) to comply with the terms of the rebate

The specific firearm has to be identified for any rebate processing by serial number as all like models will have the same UPC code.
