If you purchase the lifetime warranty buds will repair, replace, or give you current retail price for any firearm that can't be fixed or replaced. With the warranty if anything ever breaks on it they'll fix it, no cost to you. Its definitely a smart to purchase it on expensive firearms. I wouldn't really purchase the warranty for $2-300 firearms but once you get over a grand and a small repair could be costly it's worth the piece of mind. Hope this helps.
