  • 45lc comes in multiple different grains and this will shoot any factory load just fine. As for 410 it will shoot slugs, buckshot, and bird shot. Not sure if they make 410 specifically for this, although I'm sure they do, you can use any 2.5 inch 410 gauge shell you can get ahold of. Hope this helps.

  • There are may different 45LC loads available from Mild "cowboy action" loads to the extremely hard recoiling Buffalo Bore loads and the all have different powders and bullets of different grains. They do make 410 defensive rounds designed for use in the revolvers however any 410 (2.5 inch) ammo is safe and can be used

  • Danny, 45LC is 45LC, no matter the grain. As far as .410, this will shoot any 2 3/4" shell (bird shot, buck or slug). It will not shoot 3" shells. Have a great day!

  • Danny, there are various bullet weights and configurations. Any factory new 45LC ammunition will shoot fine. For self defense 230gr JHP is common : https://ammoseek.com/ammo/45-colt ------------ It will also fire new factory .410 bird, buck and slug loads just fine. Cheers and stay safe!
