Charles, this gun has a 3" chamber, so it will shoot 2 3/4" or 3" shells. And if you have any 1 3/4" mini shells laying around, it will shoot those too! Have a great day!

Charles, this shotgun has a 3 inch Chamber and can fire the shorter 2 3/4 inch shells no worries. Same concept as a .357 Mag revolver being able to fire the shorter .38 Special cartridge. Cheers and stay safe!

This has a 3 inch chamber so it will safely shoot any 2-3/4 inch or 3 inch shells. So this would be a great shotgun. Hope this helps.
