Colby, Cimarron cautions against .38 Special +P unless firing through a .357 Magnum version. Shooting any ammo like +P or reloads will void the warranty on the gun in in the owners manual of the .38 Special only version. Cheers and stay safe!

Shooting any ammo like +P or reloads will void the warranty on the gun. Cimarron Firearms does not have any plans to make any guns that shoot +P ammunition. -- Have a great day!
