Arthur, the CR2032 battery has a life of 40,000+ hours or more. If you ever need to replace it, they are readily available and only a few dollars. Have a great day!

The ROMEO5 features Sig's MOTAC (Motion Activated Illumination) which increases battery life by shutting down the system when not in use and instantly activates the system when it senses the slightest vibration or movement. This has a 40,000+ hour battery life. Hope this helps.
