This has a steel casing with a bimetal jacket projectile. So it has a lead core and a bimetal jacket Wich has steel in it and will attract a magnet. So this does not have a copper jacket. I personally don't like using bimetal jacket rounds because they can wear your barrel out much quicker than copper jacketed rounds. Hope this helps.
