Thadduese, in my opinion yes they're worth buying. From the reviews most of the rifles seem to be in fair to good condition. So possible rust, possible Nick's or scratches in the stock, minor cosmetic flaws nothing that would affect function/reliability. It would be nice if buds offered hand picking so you knew you were getting a nicer one. If you do buy one and you get to the FFL dealer to pick it up and it just looks rough, you always have the option to deny the transfer. If you deny the transfer the FFL will ship it back to buds and you'll be refunded. I always check the firearm over thoroughly before doing any paperwork because once you transfer it into your name it's yours. Hope this helps in your decision.
Thadduese, it is. This will be a very good Shooter Grade Rifle. I only wish Buds offered a Hand Pick service for which I would gladly pay. Cheers and stay safe!

Thadduese, the short answer is yes. But, there are 76 reviews on this gun, I would look thru them and make a decision based on those reviews. These rifles have seen active combat so they are in used condition, NRA rated Fair to Good. Please keep in mind these SKS rifles are Military Surplus, not trophy rifles. Stock sets may have dings, trench art or minor cracks, but all will be solid and serviceable just not pretty. Metal parts may have bluing worn off and rough stocks, but they will have good bores and are functioning rifles. Have a great day!
