Greg, Im looking and looking and can't find any difference. The barrels the same, both 3 inch chambers, both come with a Cylinder Choke and use rem chokes, same sights, look to have the same handguard, same stock, same magazine capacity. From the specs they are identical. If they are similar enough I can't find the difference id go with the cheaper model. Hope this helps.

Greg, the only difference noted on other vendor websites is a slight variation of the hand guard of the $499 Model which is listed as Retro Polymer Hand Guard. Everything else is identical. The price difference is due to number of each in stock as Buds prices are tied to stock level. Cheers and stay safe!
