Are Mk III and Mk IV Ruger 22/45 the same
Jodie, The metal mag body is the same for the MK III & the MK IV but the base plate is different between the III & IV. The base plate can be modified on the III to fit the IV. The plate is longer on the III and you can cut it off to fit the IV. There is 1/4 inch behind the back of the magazines in the Mark III. The Mark IV magazines are flush. Have a great day!
Jodie, no Sir. The MK IV is the generational upgrade specific to the MK IV Pistols. Get the gen specific model for your pistol. Cheers and stay safe!
