  • Adair, Pistol with a 16 inch barrel due to not having a Stock Sir. It is legal to purchase as a Pistol/Handgun. Cheers and stay safe!

  • Adair, it's perfectly legal (barring bizarre local laws) to have rifle length barrels on a pistol. It doesn't have a stock, so it is still a pistol. The SP5L was designed and manufactured to meet the definition of a civilian pistol.

  • Adair, since this doesn't have a stock it can still be classified as a pistol. A pistol can have a barrel over 16 inches but a rifle can't have a barrel under 16 inches. Not sure why the manufacturer decided to do it that way but it's perfectly legal. Hope this helps.
