Francisco if we know what state you are in we may be able to help you more. In NC where I live to purchase a handgun you must have a Pistol purchase permit (from sheriff) or a Concealed handgun license they both take the place of the background check. so if you resided in NC I would tell you to get a $5.00 Pistol purchase permit from the sheriff before ordering then you know you are good to go.

Hi Francisco, Yes you will but I would go first to your FFL and pass the test. It takes 20 minutes. It's 30 questions and pretty much common sense. Good luck
