Michelle, this is not CA complaint, it has too many 'evil' features. To be CA compliant, an AR must be featureless, such as this one >>>> budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/141163/diamondback+db1796k001+db15+ny+compliant+556x45mm+nato+16%22+10%2b1+black+thorsden+featureless+genii+stock+black+magpul+moe ....or have a fixed magazine.
That's a BIG NO for CA, Sorry!!!
As a whole our 4+ million customer's know more about firearms than we do. If you have a general question about a product we highly recommend that you first try out our customer Q&A feature. More often than not you will receive multiple answers to your question in minutes.

Michelle, unfortunately no, this is not legal in California due to the pistol grip, collapsible stock and flash hider. Sorry but hope this helps. Here's a link to Californias restrictions if interested....... budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/california_restrictions.pdf
