  • Michael, the owner's manual does not say one way or the other on +P ammo, it only states "Using over pressured cartridges or hand loads may cause damage to the firearm which will void the warranty and may also cause injury to yourself and/or bystanders" .   • Michael, yes, this will handle +p ammunition just fine. Just stay away from +p+ ammo. Almost all manufacturers recommend a limited use of +p ammunition because it can wear parts quicker than standard velocity ammo but unless you're shooting thousands of rounds I doubt you'll ever notice a difference vs standard velocity ammo.
