William, this gun does not use AR magazines. This uses GALEO/GALIL/GALONI MAGAZINE. >>>> americantactical.us/5993/detail.html .....They are currently out of stock everywhere. I would be careful about opticsandammo.com , there are many complaints about people being ripped off.

James and Josh are Incorrect, IWI even states on its website that the Galil is compatible with gen M3 AR pmags. This will take AR mags as stated here.
