  • Is Hoppe's #9 a good solvent for cleaning the packing oil/grease that is on a new, freshly shipped Lynx 12 gauge.

  • Duane, yes hoppes #9 is a great cleaner option. Now their lube I'm not so crazy about, it dries up to quick. The best lube I've found is Lucas extreme duty gun oil and Lucas gun grease. I've tried alot of different brands and it's fantastic. Hope this helps.
