Eli, unfortunately the faux suppressor is pinned. The barrel is not a full 16 inches, so they pinned the faux suppressor to make it a rifle. You can remove it but that would make it a short barreled rifle and require a $200 tax stamp. You could replace it and weld the replacement device on but it would have to be long enough to make the barrel 16 inches. Hope this helps.

Eli, it cannot be removed. It is considered part of the barrel and puts the barrel past the 16" minimum requirement. Have a great day!
