  • Bob, unfortunately no, this doesn't meet the melting point law. Prohibited: Any handgun having a barrel, slide, frame or receiver that has a die casting of zinc alloy or any other non-homogenous metal, which will melt or deform at a temperature of 800 degrees F or less. budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/illinois_restrictions.pdf

  • Bob, unfortunately because the frame is made of alloy this is not legal in Illinois. Any firearm made with metal that can melt under 800 degrees Fahrenheit is prohibited. Sorry but hope this helps.
