  • Now I accept this is my error, and fully ready to take the lumps associated with that. My issue is I placed a Springfield 1911 operator on lawaway with the intent to fully purchase the firearm when I got to my home state. Now I went to pay, realized I made the initial deposit on the "lightweight" instead of the steel frame. Can't I swap the two and what fees or options are there with this?

  • I've read on this before. What will likely happen is you will be charged the initial 10% deposit that is as stated "non refundable". Then you can take the refund balance and switch it to the other pistol. They may work with you, but policy warns you that the item cannot be changed.

  • Your best bet would be to contact buds and talk to them. I am sure they would swap the gun as long as they have what you want in stock and you are willing to make up any difference. Best would be to call and talk to customer service for help.
