So just a heads up I just went to Beretta website to check their serial number look up tool out, and I punched in the serial number on my Beretta 1301 Tactical gen2 enhanced version, and it also gives me the error message that it's unable to locate my firearm, so the tool on Beretta website clearly doesn't work.
These were all pretty much unobtanium in 2020 when we were having shortages, so I'd say they are almost certainly gen2, but for definite answer

Christopher, agreed. Buds Customer Service should be able to have their Inventory Dept. confirm the Gen of the firearm. These should be Gen 2's as Buds has many old stock photo's throughout their website.
