John, I have several SKS rifles and a few of these Promags and they have been 100% so far. Promag gets a bad rap due to very distant reputation. They have come a long way. Cheers and stay safe!

Promag is known for low-quality products. They're hit or miss. I got 2 for my early 90's Norinco SKS. The first one is too tight so it doesn't feed the other fit alright and feeds. You are looking at a coin toss, unfortunately. I hope this helps
