I bought the Trijicon RM04 as well as a Trijicon RMRcc pistol adaptor plate but neither seems compatible with my P365XL weapon. I checked YouTube and the demonstrators are unscrewing the rear sights from the bottom of the slide but that doesn’t seem applicable to my handgun. There are no holes on the bottom and the rear sights aren’t within the cut. Why was I sold an adaptor plate that doesn’t fit the slide? This is what my slide looks like:

Mark, it is my understanding that the P365 XL and P365 X models are designed to accept optics using the Shield RMSc mounting footprint with no plate required.
