Just purchased the Savage Axis from Buds - I have a Leupold VX-3HD 4.5-14X40 30mm scope. Can I get recomendations on a mounting system.... Is it possible to mount rings directly to the gun or do I need to get a rail? - if so what kind.. I am new to this and am wondering my options... what are my options? Thanks in advance....
