I have a 1952 model Winchester in good shape I am looking to sell but unsure of what to ask. Looking for a idea of what it may be worth.

Charles, personally I'd keep it but lever actions are selling very well right now. Since it's pre 64 it's worth a good bit more than one made after 64. You will get a better deal selling it privately. Selling it to a dealer you would probably get $600-$700. Now a private sale in good shape I'd start around $900-$1000. Last one I saw couple months ago sold for $900 in ok condition. Hope this helps and good luck.
