Edward, not your imagination. Some places have it in stock just harder to find. . For my harder to find calibers I use a website called " ammoseek ". Just Google ammoseek and type in the caliber you're looking for and if any websites have any in stock it'll find it. Another place I'd recommend is " freedom munitions " they make their own ammo and it's always been quality and usually a good bit cheaper. Also not sure if you know you can also fire 44 special threw 44 mag firearms, unfortunately it's similarly priced and just about as hard to find but might give you more options. Hope this helps.
